Zhang(1) Jun [211] Direct descendant of the Tang dynasty's Zhang Jiuling's [3130] younger brother, Jiugao [3129], a Shixing jun Zhang. A member of this lineage branch of the clan followed Xizong to Sichuan at the end of the Tang. Chi(3)'s [7164] father, Yuwen(1) Shizhong(1)'s [2101] son-in-law. He directly recruited Feng(4) Kangguo [611] for his staff in 1127. His recommendation of Zhong(3) Bing [7023] for a court appointment was obstructed by Qin(1) Gui [8008]. Jun recommended Wei(5) Anxing [1940] for a minor post. His son, Zhen(3) [3136], entered through Jun's yin. He served as Liangzhe yunpan 1182-1184, was promoted to yunfu in 1184 and then was made prefect of Linan fu. In 1188, Zhen(3) was appointed concurrent Hubu shilang and prefect of Linan fu, posts which he retained until 1190. Zhen's son, Zhongshu [3132], entered the service via his grandfather's yin in 1181. Between then and 1230, when he died, he held a series of fiscal offices, including Hubei yunpan between 1217 and 1219. Zhongshu was the son-in-law of Wang(2) Xun's [1818] son, Wang(2) Zhengji [3948]. According to Wei(5) Liaoweng's [4001] funerary inscription for Zhongshu, Jun moved to Tan, Hengyang county (WJ, 77.6a). Wei(5) Liaoweng's funerary inscription for Jun's grandnephew, Shu(5) [13784], indicates that Jun was the youngest of five sons of Xian(2) [12396]. Since Shu's grandfather and Xian(2)'s eldest son, Xie(2) [13782]) ended his career as the superintendant of the Tanzhou Southern sacred mountain shrine (Nanyu miao), and Jun was orphaned at the age of 4, we can assume that it was Xie(2), who moved to Tan, Hengyang county with his younger brothers et al.
